Excellent for winter excursions, I use it uphill alone, it has the right thermal ratio, enough to not get too hot unlike totally wool products. Unfortunately, being mixed, it does not have the same ability to limit odors, but is still better than synthetic. It was recommended to me by a hiking friend, I bought a second pair after a few months because I found it very good, much better than branded products. Pay attention to the sizes, the two purchases made months apart were different in size, I returned the second one and took the smaller size and despite this it has longer sleeves than the first one with the larger size. Over time some holes have formed but it happens with wool, it also happened to me with branded products. Advised
Comfortable to wear, soft fabric, very thin but still warm. Wore it over another shirt as a top layer and that was good for me in terms of temperature in May 2024. I don't know yet about wear resistance and odors. Very nice shirt for a good price.

I just bought it, so I can't comment on long-term use, but during the 5-day plateau camp, I slept in a -4 comfort rating sleeping bag, wearing only these underwear. According to my previous experiences, the comfort level of the overalls is +7 degrees maximum, provided that you are fully clothed. I spent 5 very comfortable nights with these underwear in the range of 3-7 degrees. Although we did not have the chance to take a shower in the plateau, I did not feel any odor or discomfort after 5 days. There is absolutely no stinging or itching sensation. It became even softer when I washed it before first use according to the instructions. I was very pleased, I recommend it.

Odour control
The component limits perspiration odours. This Merino wool t-shirt can therefore be worn several days in a row and means you can take less clothes when trekking making for a lighter backpack!
Reduction of the freezing effect
When you make a physical effort and sweat heavily, the merino wool easily traps the insulating warm air and can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without making you feel damp, which is appreciable in cool weather. In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of the water in the wool absorbs energy, which cools the body slightly at the same time.
Tip before use
For a softer feel, wash your t-shirt before first use.
How to wash your t-shirt made with merino wool?

Product testing
In November 2018, 8 trekkers (4 men and 4 women) and part of the Forclaz design team tested this T-shirt for four days in the Southern French Alps (Lus La Croix Haute). You can expect wind, rain, a bit of snow, a bivouac... and a lot of fun! We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for mountain trekking use.
